At a 20 percent ctr, the number of needed visitors drops to 5480. That means you only need a quarter of the visitors to get the same results. On the other hand, if you can keep those 21,920 visitors, but increase your ctr, you will make over $400,000 per year.
Make sure that you are targeting high paying keywords with these pages. While it is nice to make a little bit of ?Christmas money? from your hobby site, real internet entrepreneurs build sites not because they personally find the subjects interesting but because they can make money off of them. Legal, financial, and domain based keywords pay the most money. Knitting, on the other hand, doesn?t pay much, as you can imagine.
The profit formula for Adsense publishers is choosing high paying keywords to target, developing a website that drives people to click on the ads, and then driving traffic to the site. If you can master these three simple things, you can make a fortune with Adsense.
